I had fun with new friends and old last month when Paranormal, Eh? radio out of Canada announced the winners of its coveted Zombie Beaver End of the Year Awards for 2011.
I was invited to call in, have a few laughs, hear about the great things coming up for friends like Frank Todaro of The Invisible World and Nicole and Angel of CT Soul Seekers…and make a very special announcement about what’s on my horizon for next year!
You can listen to the show, hear the winners (and a few jokes about the October snowstorm and blackout), and my special announcement—right here: http://wp.me/pIXRs-18L
Canada’s Paranormal Eh? radio’s gifts to fans: a reading of my brand-new as-yet unreleased apocalyptic horror story—perfect for heading into 2012; Nathan talked about the Krampus, and Nicole and Angel of CT Soul Seekers shared some holiday humor. Want these treats stuffing your stocking? You can listen for free here: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/paranormaleh/2011/12/12/a-very-paranormal-eh-christmas
Nathan’s apartment decked out for Halloween, 2005. Yes, he carved all those pumpkins. It’s one of his favorite activities.
Ghost stories have always been an oral tradition—shared around the Victorian hearth, intoned around the campfire, whispered while passing the haunted house.
For Halloween, Canada’s Paranormal Eh? honors that tradition with an audio treat—a reading of my out-of-print ghost story “House Sitter”…followed by the true story that inspired it.
Enjoy…and Happy Haunting! Listen here: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/paranormaleh/2011/10/25/kristi-petersen-schoonover
I was recently asked by Paranormal Eh? and The Ghostman & Demon Hunter Show (no surprise on that last one, really) to record promo spots! You can listen to them below. Enjoy!

Congrats to the winner and THANK YOU to everyone who played!
My two-part interview with Terry Konig of Paranormal, Eh? Radio—and the very first episode of the show’s Rapid Fire Fan Questions—are now available! They aired March 15 and 16.

It’s been fun to see Skeletons pop up on a couple of recommended Holiday Gift Lists! Terry Konig of the Facebook group Paranormal Eh? put it on the list of “Great Paranormal Books for Christmas” alongside Steven A. LaChance’s Crazy and Scott Sigler’s Ancestor. It also made its debut on Bargain Mom’s list, which features fun products from pajamas to tequila. Cool! www.bargainmom.net
I was recently featured in the Canadian Facebook Group’s Paranormal, Eh? Interview series—Terry Konig interviews a paranormal celebrity or two every couple of weeks. In my interview, I discuss ghost stories (of course), what my fave paranormal shows are, and much more—including some writerly advice for those wanted to get published. You can join their group on FB and check it out here; once he gets a few more people after me, I’ll post the entire interview where everyone can read it for those of you who don’t wish to join his group.
